My first visit was OK with staff being prompt, professional, and mostly friendly. My one concern is that they processed my payment (a rather large amount) before having any work done. I understand needing a deposit but I am accustomed to paying after services have been satisfactorily rendered.

I am extremely disappointed in Aspen Dental of Athens. I am a current patient dealing with a dental emergency (a broken tooth), and when I called the office, I was told the earliest they could see me was August 4th, 2026 β€” more than three weeks away. When I mentioned that I saw appointments available online as soon as tomorrow, I was told, β€œOh, that is for new patients.” That response alone says everything. They openly prioritize new patients over existing ones, even in emergencies. What makes this worse is that when I was a new patient, I also had a dental emergency β€” and they got me in immediately, even on a Saturday. So yes, they absolutely treat new patients differently, and it’s clearly driven by money, not care. What they told me is not just inconvenient β€” it’s disrespectful to me as an established patient who is dealing with a true dental emergency. A broken tooth is not something that can wait three weeks, and the fact that they openly admitted that earlier appointments are reserved for new patients makes the situation even more unacceptable. This is shameful, unprofessional, and shows a complete lack of concern for loyal patients who trust them with their dental health

I had a very good experience at this Aspen Dental. Kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable people. Talked about what needed to be done, explained the xrays and how to go forward. The office manager, Nuhaa, was very helpful. Her understanding of individual ability to pay and how to help them. She pointed me in the right direction to get a plan to help me save. No one pressured me into doing any procedure right away. One step at a time. And Dr. Mike (Heo) is so good at working with his patients. He's personable, gentle and knowledgeable. I found this practice to be friendly and professional.

I had an amazing experience at Aspen Dental, everyone was so friendly and experienced. Came in for tooth pain and given amazing care. Shey was so kind and helpful and so was the entire staff. I saw some reviews on here that made me worried but after today I will sing this places praise anytime, any day. If you need solid dental help and friendly staff always ready to answer questions this is your place.

I must admit I haven't been to a dentist in years. I was so nervous about this visit, but as soon as I walked in it was a warm and comforting atmosphere. All the staff was so friendly and I really enjoyed my visit. I can honestly say I found my new dentist office.
